The Twin water softener system is designed to provide a continuous, uninterrupted supply of soft water for larger households (typically five or more people). This system uses a metered duplex control valve and a twin-tank design to ensure there is never any hard water bypassed during regeneration. A key benefit of the twin-tank design is that the system can use pre-softened water to clean itself, which results in a more thorough and efficient regeneration. The system automatically switches to the second tank as soon as the first is exhausted, allowing it to regenerate at any time without a clock or the need for a water reserve. This means power outages will not disrupt the cycle, and the system can use every last drop of conditioned water from the first tank before switching.
