The Sterling FES Series is an advanced and user-friendly water softener that uses an electronic meter to accurately measure water usage and initiate regeneration on demand. Its backlit display is easy to read in dark areas, and simple push-button controls allow you to easily change settings or start an extra regeneration. In the event of a power outage, a constantly charged battery can maintain the time and other settings for up to two weeks. The unit is built with durable, non-corrosive materials and features a rugged, motorized piston control valve to handle challenging water conditions. It also offers adjustable regeneration cycles to maximize salt efficiency and includes a vortex backwash system to keep the resin bed clean. For ease of use, it comes with a stainless steel bypass valve and a large, rust-proof brine tank with a salt support platform and safety valve
