About Product
The PTS1-HE water softeners use a new, more efficient resin that results in several benefits. The new resin requires less salt, leading to a 15% savings in both water and salt. It also has a greater softening capacity and provides better iron removal. The resin is also more tolerant of chlorine and performs better in water with elevated TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) compared to standard resins. Like the other PTS1 Series models, the PTS1-HE features a twin-tank system that provides continuous soft water 24/7. If there is a sudden spike in demand, the system seamlessly switches to the second tank to ensure an uninterrupted supply. The unit is ready out of the box to be connected to 1" or 3/4" plumbing.
