The PWS1 Series water softeners are designed for both system performance and ease of service. The control head, with its modular design, can be serviced quickly and often without tools, and it is made from non-corrosive materials like fiberglass and stainless steel to provide years of service without rust or corrosion. It has a simple push-button interface and an intuitive controller with fully adjustable settings. The system's unique microprocessor-based control head monitors system performance, water consumption, and more, including: days and gallons since last regeneration, water flow rates, and peak flow over the last seven days. If the power fails, all settings and historical data remain unchanged. The PWS1 Series also features a suspended backwashing system to scrub iron and turbidity from the resin bed during regeneration, and a full-flow bypass valve that allows for watering with raw water and prevents pressure drop. The brine tank has a large 220 lb capacity to reduce the frequency of salt refills, a salt support platform to keep the salt dry, and a safety brine valve to prevent overflow.
