Founded by Richard Bergin, Sr., the family business was passed to Richard Bergin, Jr. eleven years later, and further expanded in 1945 when Clifford Bergin joined the team, prompting a move to Bergin Heating & Sheet Metal. Following decades of rapid growth, the company officially became Cliff Bergin & Associates in 1982 as the next generation of leadership—owners Gary Bergin, Robert Depies, and Donald Hostetter—stepped on board to carry the legacy forward.
