The company was founded in 1946 by Charles Richardville, who brought over a decade of pre-war oil field experience back home after serving in WWII. Charles initially focused on drilling both oil and water wells. In 1981, the company evolved under the leadership of his son, Gary Richardville. Gary modernized operations by transitioning from traditional cable tool drilling to advanced mud and air rotary techniques. He also expanded the service offerings to include auger drilling with hollow stemmed augers, moving into the specialized field of environmental drilling. Today, Richardville Drilling serves both residential and commercial clients within approximately a 100-mile radius of Evansville, Indiana, providing state-of-the-art drilling solutions backed by generations of experience.
