Travis Wells and Pumps is a well and pump service provider with a rich history dating back over nine decades. The business was originally founded as Walter P. Travis Inc. in 1923 by Walter P. Travis, providing expert water services—the "liquid of life"—to thousands of homes and businesses. For more than 90 years, the Travis family, including Walter, his brother Phillip, and son Jerry, serviced Mercer County and beyond. In 2019, the company entered a new era when Stover's Wells and Pumps of Flemington, New Jersey, acquired Walter P. Travis Inc.. This acquisition formalized a successful, four-decade-long friendly collaboration between the Travis and Stover families. Operating today as Travis Wells and Pumps from its established workshop in Ewing, NJ, the company has maintained its long-standing commitment to service quality. The new ownership has retained the entire existing staff, allowing the combined teams to formally blend their expertise and continue providing the high level of reliable, expert service that customers depend on.
