The Sentry II Series 960 (Part Number: A960-32) is a compact 32,000-grain water softener system specifically designed for smaller households of 1 to 3 people. Equipped with an intelligent microprocessor, the system tracks your daily water usage and automatically adjusts its regeneration cycles to match actual consumption, which reduces salt usage by up to 50% and minimizes water waste. Operating at a normal flow rate of 9 GPM and a peak flow rate of 14 GPM (with a maximum pressure of 75 PSI and temperature of 80°F), it effectively eliminates calcium and magnesium to protect your plumbing and major water-using appliances from damaging scale buildup. By treating hard water, it boosts soap and detergent efficiency by up to 70%, prevents white mineral spots on dishes, glassware, and fixtures, and helps maintain softer skin and healthier, more manageable hair. The complete setup includes a bypass valve and consists of an 8" x 44" resin tank along with an 18" x 33" brine tank capable of holding 240 lbs of salt, available in either Black or Almond finishes.
