The Grundfos 385S400-6B is a multi-stage submersible pump intended for demanding applications such as raw water supply, groundwater lowering, and pressure boosting. The pump is suitable for clean, thin, non-aggressive liquids only, provided they are entirely free of solid particles or fibers. It supports both horizontal and vertical installation and features a built-in non-return valve. Power is supplied by a 3-phase, canned-type motor that is built for durability with a sand shield, liquid-lubricated bearings, and a pressure-equalizing diaphragm.
