System Components & Features Dual Pump Protection The ProPak is built on the principle of redundancy and includes two submersible pumps: Primary Pump (Model M53): A 3/10 HP automatic pump that includes the Zoeller LED Plug for quick visual confirmation of power status. Backup Pump (Model 508): A 12 Volt battery-powered pump designed to automatically engage and support the primary pump during high-flow events or a power outage. Backup Power & Runtime The Model 508 backup pump can provide approximately six hours of continuous run time, which generally equals up to two days of backup protection for the average home. For maximum reliability, the system is pre-equipped with connections for a second pump run float for extra redundancy. Monitoring and Quality The system is self-monitoring and provides alerts for critical issues, including power outages, high water conditions, and switch obstructions.
