The Zoeller Model GX4188 is a heavy-duty, nonautomatic 1−1/2 HP effluent pump certified as explosion-proof for hazardous environments (Class 1, Division 1, Groups C & D or Class 1, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB). It requires an intrinsically-safe control panel and floats for operation. Engineered for reliable solids handling, the pump uses a vortex impeller designed to pass 3/4" spherical solids freely, which helps minimize clogging and downtime. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand demanding effluent applications, featuring a durable cast iron motor housing, pump housing, and base, complemented by corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware and handle.
