The Sterling Water Treatment OXY3™ Series Iron Reduction System is designed to reduce staining, eliminate odors, and protect your plumbing. It operates without the use of chemicals, a chemical regenerant, an air compressor, or an in-line venturi to plug or adjust. The noise and expense of a compressor are also eliminated. This systems is low-maintenance, requiring only the occasional replenishment of media if the raw water pH is below 7. A fill port is provided for this purpose. The system uses a Rugged Mechanical Piston Valve to prevent sticking and a Full Flow Bypass Valve that allows you to bypass the unit for outdoor water use, such as lawn sprinkling, while the system is filtering. It comes in various models to accommodate different service flow rates.
