Running on natural gas or propane and delivering up to 10 GPM, it can be installed either indoors or outdoors using the Versa-Vent accessory, giving homeowners flexibility with limited space — the unit itself is no bigger than a small suitcase. With a 0.98 Uniform Energy Factor, Wi-Fi connectivity, and recirculation capability for instant hot water delivery, the RX180iN is backed by a 15-year heat exchanger warranty, 5-year parts warranty, and 1-year labor warranty — roughly twice the coverage of a standard tank water heater — and qualifies for up to $1,500 in SoCal Gas rebates when installed in Southern California.
