The SPE 385S400-4 is a multi-stage, speed-regulated submersible pump designed for raw water supply, groundwater lowering, and pressure boosting. It is meant for handling clean, thin, non-aggressive liquids free of solid particles or fibers. Constructed entirely from Stainless steel (DIN W.-Nr. EN 1.4301), the pump can be installed both horizontally and vertically and includes a built-in non-return valve. It uses a 3-phase, synchronous, high-efficiency permanent magnet submersible motor of the canned type. All parts of the motor that contact the pumped liquid are also made of stainless steel. This IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor has embedded magnets in its metal-clad rotor, meaning it requires a frequency drive for both starting and speed regulation.
