The SCT1 Series is an all-in-one Carbon Filter/Softener designed as a single, space-saving unit that performs the job of two separate pieces of equipment. This system reduces chlorine, taste, and odor , which protects the softening resin from deterioration and ensures a continuous supply of luxurious, great-tasting soft water. The unit is easy to install, requiring only one control valve , and includes a full-flow bypass valve that simplifies directing untreated water to things like lawn irrigation. Maintenance is straightforward, requiring only periodic salt additions and re-bedding of the carbon filter if it becomes exhausted. For durability and convenience, it features a sturdy brine tank with an internal salt support platform to prevent salt mushing and a safety brine valve to prevent overflow.
